4. Guest Obligations

- Guests must adhere to each property’s house rules, maintain good conduct, and respect the property.
- Guests are financially liable for any damage, loss, or misconduct caused during their stay.
5. Host Obligations
- Hosts must ensure property details (pricing, amenities, availability, etc.) are accurate and regularly updated.
- Hosts are responsible for ensuring properties are safe, hygienic, and compliant with applicable laws.
- Hosts are solely responsible for fulfilling tax, permit, and regulatory obligations.
6. Bookings and Payments
- All bookings must be made directly through the Shortlet NG Platform.
- Payments are processed through secure, authorized payment gateways integrated with our system.
- Shortlet NG may withhold service charges, commissions, or processing fees as agreed.
7. Cancellations and Refunds
- Each property may have its own cancellation and refund policy, clearly displayed at the time of booking.
- Guests are advised to review such policies before confirming a reservation.
- Shortlet NG is not liable for losses arising from cancellations but may mediate disputes between guests and hosts at its discretion.
8. Prohibited Use
Users may not:
- Engage in fraudulent, unlawful, or misleading activities.
- Misrepresent their identity or authority to use the Platform.
- Upload harmful, defamatory, or offensive content.
- Circumvent Shortlet NG’s booking or payment systems.
9. Limitation of Liability
- Shortlet NG does not own, operate, or control properties listed on the Platform.
- We act solely as an intermediary connecting guests and hosts.
- Shortlet NG is not liable for property conditions, host behavior, guest actions, accidents, injuries, or losses arising from use of the Platform.
- Users engage with the Platform and services at their own risk.
10. Privacy and Data Protection
Use of the Platform is subject to our Privacy Policy, which outlines how personal data is collected, processed, and protected. By using Shortlet NG, you consent to such data handling.
11. Intellectual Property
All intellectual property rights in the Shortlet NG brand, logo, platform design, and content remain the exclusive property of Shortlet NG. Users may not reproduce, distribute, or modify such content without written consent.
